Does Your Home Have Spirits?

Today I've made a video as a response to Wisteria Witch's question about household spirits. Watch the video and tell me, does your home have spirits?

Here is a picture of the 200 year old house I was talking about in the video. Of course it looked different when we lived there. The overgrowth looks very similar to when we first rented the house though. I still remember pulling vines and mowing that lawn when the stalks of weeds looked more like mini trees!

Btw, I think I'm getting the hang of this vlog thing! I'm much less nervous in front of the camera. :)

Great video! What is it with the grumpy spirits and stairs? Ours did that too when we were kids. They pushed my sis down the stairs in a really nasty fall. The ones who frequented my room were very horny and angry. We lived in a 100 year old farmhouse in the WV mountains. We used to find old Union uniform buttons, earthen pottery, and even a Revolutionary Dragoon button. LOTS of history in that old house. We moved away, then Momma bought it back about 12 years ago. The spirits are still there. They are pretty calm when it's just her, but they get riled up when children are at the house. There are rooms that are padlocked now to keep the kids out of them and gates in front of the stairs. It's creepy to go back home, and I always go shielded to the nines.

Oh in war areas energy is definitely wacky. Perhaps they still think there's a war and wanting the children out of the area? Hmm... It would be interesting to have a psychic in the area to see if they can connect.

If I have any spirits around my house, they must be very shy. I used to live in a very old villa and never heard an unexplained peep. But who knows, I've keep some of the essence of my grandmother in a flowerpot for years, and recently added the ashes of my baby brother to my altar, so maybe they are keeping other souls away. Knowing my grandmother, no one will get near. And my little brother, well... he used to through rocks at guys who tried to talk to me (he was very little when he did this) so who knows the kind of things he might through to intruders these days.

P.S. Lovely voice! You sound exactly like I imagined you would ;-)

I do ask my ancestors to watch over and protect me, so yes that could be a reason for the lack of activity here too. :) I can just imagine your gran and brother throwing rocks at spirits. lol.

Thanks. I sound like a hick though. When I played it back I shuddered a few times. Words with "ing" usually lose the ending. I try to take the twang out of my voice but it still inches its way in there.
