Psychic Eye Gazing

My pretty blues.
In our society looking someone in the eyes when speaking to them is seen as the most preferable trait. Perhaps it goes back to basic natural instinct.  Those who look straight into your eyes are seen as honest and confident. Essensially the "alpha".

Whereas someone who does not look into your eyes is seen as evasive and untrustworthy - the beta of the group.

I do not often look into peoples eyes, and I think that has really hurt me in some social situations. I know I come off as too timid. My husband is always the opposite, he looks everyone in the eyes.

However I don't do it out of timidity. It's because I see far more than you wish me to know. The eyes reveal much more than we'd like. I can feel your emotions and sense things about other people. I avoid looking at people in their eyes out of respect for their privacy. I don't want to learn info that is not my business.

Do you know how disconcerting it is to be talking with your boss, look them in the eye and get the very strong private thought? It's quite hard to focus on business when you just learned your boss is bitching you out because he's angry at his wife and needs to vent. I'd love to say something to comfort them, but if I do then I'm pressed with questions on how I knew. I can't very well tell my boss I am psychic and when I look into your eyes I see the fight.

For more info on eye gazing, read this article called, "Collective Evolution - The Powerful Practice of Eye Gazing."

Do you receive psychic information when looking someone in the eyes?

Are you an alpha or a beta?

You know my mom does that, looks at me and reads me, I can actually feel it. I can feel her going through my head looking for answers to her questions. I hate it, Ive even told her to stop doing that. She pretends not to know what Im talking about.

Im 34, I could understand if I was a teenager. lol
Oh but a mothers job is never done. ;)
I have trouble with folks who want to just look me straight in the eyes. From answering questions like "where do you think I'm originally from?" "how old do you think I am?" and shocking the people when I get it right - it's fun but even I wonder where did that come from? Looking people in the eye and picking up on their emotions is sort of a cheap high for me. It's one of the reasons I consider myself a witch - I can't read their every thought, but I can get a lot from just a bit of looking in their eyes. I'm never really sure how much to share with them. Also, hugging people and / or shaking hands is weird for me - way too much info. Another thing, crowded stores and Christmas shopping - the emotions exhaust me. Sorry, I could go on and on, it's so fun to have people who know about this to 'talk' to. There is so much I want to learn.

Thanks for your thoughts. Physical touch doesn't often reveal info, unless that person is already an open book. Even so, I don't like a lot of physical contact with other people. But that's just apart of my anti-social personality.
Maye you can learn how to better shield yourself. It takes some time - I do not see anything, just "know" or get a feeling for emotions and such, and when I am not careful, I soak them up. I always have to remember to shield, ground and center myself before interacting with others.

Oh I've been shielding for many many years. I'm pretty good at it in a crowd, but it is a conscious effort and I can't keep it up all day, such as in a work environment. With individual encounters yes, but if its a spur of the moment type situation I usually don't even think of grounding or shielding.
