Spaying and neutering your pets is just the right thing to do! As I type this at 6 a.m I hear a cat outside my door meowing for a mate. She'll have approximately 7 kittens who will go on and have even more kittens (possibly inbred). The owner of said cat obviously does not care that those kittens and likely the mother cat will end up in a shelter where some unfortunate person will have to kill them all because there isn't enough responsible homes. Its either that, or they get killed on the road and cause car accidents.
I'm sorry this is a bit of a rant, but I haven't much sleep. Matter of fact I've had zero sleep because of one ignorant cat owner who hasn't spayed his cat.
DON'T be ignorant any more. And if you KNOW you should spay/neuter and choose not to, well you just suck.
And don't say you don't have enough money to do it. There are low cost options. And really, if you can't afford a $50 dollar surgery then you can't afford a pet.
Guess what?! There are health benefits for your pet too such as reduced chances of developing cancer. A spayed/neutered pet is a happy pet! So just do it.
