23. Share a Poem (written by you or someone else with credit) about Samhain/Halloween.

I wrote this poem in 2007 when I wanted to do babysitting in my home. I did get an interview to babysit one little boy, but it didn't work out. That's not to say this poem didn't work in ritual for me. It did bring me a little boy. It's just I was meant to do other things, and shortly thereafter I found a wonderful job that I loved doing even more than I would have loved babysitting.

So here it is,

Bring to me a person of means,
who needs my service and works well with me.

Whose children are wonderful and well behaved,
who plays with Sierra and loves my name.

I call to thee now notice my name,
by the beginning of the new moon,

So mote it be

I know its not about Samhain, but there you have it. Maybe my writing will inspire someone today. :)

This is apart of 31 Days of Samhain
